Clutter

Clutter #

Clutter is a deployment and infrastructure management platform designed to simplify the process of provisioning and maintaining cloud-based applications. The goal of the project is to reduce the amount of manual configuration required when deploying services while still providing users with visibility and control over the underlying infrastructure.

Modern cloud platforms offer powerful capabilities, but setting up the required permissions, networking, storage, and deployment pipelines can be time-consuming and error-prone. Clutter aims to streamline this process by automating common deployment tasks and ensuring that the required cloud resources are configured consistently and securely.

An early development version of Clutter is currently available at clutter.alberta2514640.ca. The current release focuses on core deployment functionality and supports selected AWS services, including:

  • Amazon EC2
  • Amazon DynamoDB
  • AWS Lambda

The platform automates much of the infrastructure configuration required to deploy and operate applications on these services, including the creation of supporting resources and the management of necessary permissions. This allows developers to focus on their applications rather than the complexities of cloud configuration.

Clutter is currently under active development. Over the coming year, planned enhancements include expanded deployment capabilities, additional cloud service integrations, and support for alternative infrastructure providers. One of the primary goals for future releases is the addition of support for Patrii cloud infrastructure, allowing users greater flexibility in where and how their applications are hosted.

As development continues, Clutter will serve both as an internal deployment platform for Alberta 2514640 Inc. projects and as a foundation for future client infrastructure solutions. The project reflects our broader interest in building practical tools that make modern infrastructure easier to deploy, manage, and maintain.

We welcome feedback from early users and collaborators as the platform evolves.
